One Card... So many Versions...

Hey everyone,

Here is a very simple card that has many different possibilities.  We are going to show you four different variations on this one card.  I hope you love it as much as we do.

First of all, the card is 5 ½” by 8 ½” for the base. This is simply an 8 ½” by 11” piece of card stock folded in half.

Matte 1, out of the bright colored glitter paper, is 5 ¼” x 8 ¼”. We stick this directly to the front of the card.

Matte 2, out of pink card stock, is 4 ¼” x 7 ¼”. We used the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. For a card this size, we ran it through sideways… once for the top and once for the bottom. There is also a ¾” wide piece of ribbon that runs centered from top to bottom of this piece. This is attached with 1/8” adhesive foam for a little dimension.

Matte 3 is 3 ¾” x 6 ¾” in lime green. It’s also raised with adhesive foam.

Matte 4 is 3 ¼” x 6 ¼” in dark pink glittered paper. We stick this directly to the green matte.

We used the Cricut to cut a Scalloped Circle from Accent Essentials with a height of 4.80 on the Gypsy. We then cut the white circle at 4.00 from Accent Essentials on the Gypsy.

These instructions will make is easy to follow the different versions of the cards and we have noted the variations under each picture. We sure hope you like them!

With the Happy Anniversary Card, we used the colors listed above.  The Happy Anniversary phrase and shadow were both cut at a height of 1.76 using the Gypsy from Sweethearts.  We also added a bow tie using the same 3/4" purple ribbon that was used on Matte 2.

The Happy Birthday Card was done the same way as the Anniversary Card.  The only difference is the sentiment.  We used the Happy Birthday from Gypsy Wanderings and cut is at a height of 2.72 for both the phrase and the shadow.  Below is how we did the interior of the card.
