Birdhouse Anniversary Cards...

This is a fun one that we did in a couple of favorite color schemes. Several anniversaries coming up too. I found this texture paper at Michaels and immediately wanted to do birdhouses with it. To me, it looks like the side of a tree. I hope everyone likes them. I put two color variations on here, but will just explain the card once.
I used Cindy Loo, Calligraphy Collection, Happily Ever After, Lacy Labels and Sentimentals for this card.
All of the birdhouse layers for this are cut at a height of 5.60. Use some scraps and cut this out small first and play with the way the layers go together. It took me a while to figure this out exactly the way I wanted it to look. The sign background is from Lacy Labels and cut at a height of 1.40. The Do Not Disturb is from Sentimentals and cut at a height of .70 for both layers.
3D Adhesive was used to pop out some of the features. Every inch of this card was inked with chocolate ink. The bottom mat is 5 ¼” x 8 ¼”. The Wood texture mat is 4 ¾” x 7 ¾”.
For the inside of this card, the mat is 5 ¼” x 8 ¼”. The white sentiment mat is 4 ¾” x 4 ¾”. The hearts are from Calligraphy Collection. The small ones are cut at a height of .60. The one with the flourish is cut at a height of 1.00. The birds are from Happily Ever After. All layers are cut at a height of 1.70. One is put on the screen of the Gypsy and then copied and flipped so they face each other. Our sentiment included “Hope you love birds have a wonderful anniversary. Now, don’t get arrested or anything!”
These were fun to make. Hope everyone enjoys theirs. By the way, the sentiment mat in this one was 4 ¼” x 7 ¼”. This entire card was inked using Pansy Purple from Close to my Heart. Thanks for looking! Bobby
