Get Well Card for Mom...

Hey Ya'll,
My Mom has been under the weather for a couple of days.  This is a quick get well card I put together for her.  Sorry, but I didn't keep track of my cut sizes and things.  I used 3 Birds on Parade for the images and I used the artwork from the Cricut Imagine Best Friends cartridge for the papers.  I still don't know a lot about the Imagine yet.  Time has been very challenging this week, but when I do know about it is that I really like it!  I hope you all enjoy the card.  I promise, I will keep better notes on the next one.

  1. OH this is adorable! I love it!! Those papers are yummy - YAY Imagine!! and Yay Cricut Couple! I think I need this cartridge (3 birds on Parade)!! Wonderful!

  2. That's a very cute card. I just love those bird's. Glad to see you're still loving the Imagine. I have found a new perspective on it. Pam from The Bug Bytes summed it up for me. I never thought about it like this. She said that the Imagine is a great machine and it does what it is supposed to do. The problem is with the art work in the cartridges. They are not set up to layer like our original carts and if you try to change colors or patterns you lose details. But if you use a colors and patterns cart with original carts you can really be a happy camper. Then the machine really does what it is designed to. So I intend to get one in the near future, or when they are available. But I still have a tiny problem.I couldn't even get a rectangle resized for a card template on my Gypsy. I really need some recent tutorials with all the updates on them because I'm lost as a goose. Do you happen to know of any? When I first got my "G" I found some but I can't remember where.

  3. Hey, Bobby and Jill,
Congratulations on winning the cart in the She's a Sassy Lady contest. Fills good to win doesn't it? Enjoy.

  4. What a lovely card for a lovely lady. I hope she feels better soon. So thoughtful of you.

  5. I hope that you mom feels much better soon...this pretty card will help.... You are doing a wonderful job with your imagine.... lots of things I have seen make me not want it at all.. your card however makes me feel different.

  6. That is so cute! I hope your mom feels better soon! Many blessings to you all :0)
