Hey Ya'll,
Another scraps card today.  This one was done the same as before without the weaving.  I simply cut strips and then sewed them together.  This also has some ribbons sewn onto the background.  The flower and butterfly are stamped from Anna Griffin's floral collection.  Other flowers are simply from different things that haven't been used in a long time.  These cards recently are all about cleaning out the things haven't been used or were scraps from other projects.
A simple ribbon was added to the floral arrangement.  Glossy Accents was used on the Happy Birthday and on the body of the butterfly.  A couple of hot rocks were also used to embellish the ribbon across the top.
The inside of the card was kept very simple with a basic white mat.  This was another fun one and went over very well but the recipient at work.  Thanks so much for visiting today.  Have you tried sewing your scraps together yet?  We would love to know!

  1. What a gorgeous, and I mean, gorgeous card!!! I am so loving what you're doing with your scraps!!!

I have tried several times sewing on cardstock but mine just never seem to come out -- I only manage to holes too big to hold the threads even when I use a small needle! Some of us have got it; some of us don't... LOL!!!

    Great job!

  2. Your cards deserve a "prettier" word than scraps.
