My Craft Spot Challenge #33

Hey Ya'll,
Well, today is Challenge Day over at My Craft Spot.  This week's challenge is to make an Easel card.  So... this is what I came up with.  Until I started designing for My Craft Spot, I had never before made an easel card, and I must admit, I am completely addicted!
This card has a lot of precise Gypsy work, so you can go here to download the file.
This is a 6x6 easel card.  The paper I used for this is from the DCWV All Season's stack.  I cut out the birds with precision scissors.  The snowflakes and label shapes are in the Gypsy file.  I used White Christmas and Winter Wonderland stamp sets from My Craft Spot for the sentiments.  I used 3D adhesive to pop everything.  I really loved the way the snowflake shadows in the larger shape.
For the inside, I also used some of the beautiful Vintage Vanilla Ribbon for the sentiment label shape.  This is also from My Craft Spot.
When it all stands up, this is what it looks like.  I wish you could actually see it because the glitter in the shadow and on the snowflakes is really beautiful!  Thanks so much for visiting today!  For more amazing easel card inspiration and to submit your own for this week's wonderful prize, please visit My Craft Spot for details!  We sure hope that you will pop over to My Craft Spot and see what the rest of the wonderful design team has to share with you and spread some love their way.

Now, keep in mind that we have our 500+ Follower Celebration going on.  If you haven't heard about it yet, click on the announcement banner in the top right corner of this blog. It will take you back to the beginning.  There are prizes all along the way.  Even thought today's project isn't apart of the celebration, we will include comments for an extra chance to win the Grand Prize.  Wanna know what that it?  Just click the banner and check it out.  It's so worth the extra time.  Hee! Hee!  Thanks so much for visiting today!  We hope you are all having a wonderful time getting ready for all of your holiday celebrations and really appreciate your celebrating with us during one of ours!  How fun is this?!?

  8. Ok, I don't even know where to begin. This is just such a lovely card, I'm thinking it should be placed in a gorgeous frame and hung on the wall...like maybe at MY house! Really, this card is just a piece of art. I love all the soft, muted colors and the beautiful inking. The birds are just lovely and the snowflake is so striking with the inking and gems. You've done it again!
