Oh Christmas Tree - Giveaway Continues...

Hey Ya'll,
Well, the projects have been slow.  It's been crazy at work.  This is a card I managed to get out and I was really happy about the way it came out.  I used Crinkle Ribbon, Twine and Stamps from My Craft Spot.  We still have out Cricut Cake Machine Giveaway going on, so to sign up click HERE!
I used CTMH - Art Philosophy for this design.  I set the sizes of the rounded rectangle for my mats.  For the red mat, I used the gypsy and cut the tree in the center.  For the snowflake mat, I cut a smaller mat and in the center, cut a scalloped oval.  Both are layered using 3D adhesive.  Under the mats and on the actual card base, I gathered Green Crinkle Ribbon to make ruffles.  I also took Peppermint Twine and added it across the ribbon.  This made the tree just pop through the tree frames.
I also cut some snowflakes from CTMH-AP and the label shapes on the bottom.  I used an extra piece of green ribbon under the label shapes on the bottom.  I stamped it with Have yourself a Merry little Christmas stamp.  I used some stickles here and there to finish it off.
On the inside, I added solid mats and a scrap white piece to the center for sentiment.  I also added a couple of more snowflakes on the inside.  I was so happy with the way that this turned out.  If you are looking for ribbon, twine or some adorable Christmas stamps, hop on over to My Craft Spot.  I am just thrilled with the quality and they have really changed my projects for Christmas this year!

As I mentioned before, it's been very, very busy.  I have a project for Sassy on Thanksgiving day.  I hope you will stop by and check it out.  I am trying to get some more things done, but Wow!  Life is really coming fast right now.  We really appreciate you all visiting today and hope that you will sign up for our Cricut Cake Machine Giveaway!

  12. Another card I just love. I find that I am using my Art Philosophy cartridge for almost everything I have done since it came out. I am a consultant, but it's the cartridge that has so many possibilities and you are opening my eyes up to so many more with every card you make with it. I can't wait to try and copy some of your great ideas. Really love what you did with the ribbon around the tree.
