Santa's Sleigh... and a 500 Follower Prize

Hey Ya'll,
Welcome to our second day of our 500+ Follower Celebration!  If you haven't seen the announcement yet, be sure to click on the picture on top of the right sidebar to see all the details.  Today is a prize post, so be sure to check out the whole thing to see what is up for grabs today!

Here is a 6x6 card made using the new Imagine Santa's Village Cartridge.  I am completely addicted to this cartridge and love mixing it with stamps from My Craft Spot!
For this one, I did a 6x6 card base.  The blue mat is 5 3/4 x 5 3/4.  The scalloped circles are cut at...  Green 5.00, Red 4.60.  The lace is a paper doily that is 4 inches.  The santa sleigh and all layers are cut at 4.20.  Across the top, I used a scrap of paper from the santa's village papers and then added a strip of vanilla bakers twine from My Craft Spot, which I stamped with one of the stamps!  Well, this one is a little hard to read, but I tried it on some other things and it looks a lot better if you ink your stamp with versa mark first and then your ink.  It seems to really give a better impression and the contrast is better.  It actually look really good up close, but my camera wasn't getting along with the ribbon texture that much.  Hee! Hee!
I popped all of the layers.  Under the bottom circle, there is some glitter coming out and around.  This is a blue glitter eye lash yarn from Martha Stewart!  Love this stuff!
The inside was kept very simple.  I just cut all of the front circles again, inked them and added a white sentiment mat cut at 4.20.  I was so pleased with the way it turned out and hope you love it too!

So, today's prize is a
Cricut for Beginners DVD set!
For today's prize, just leave a comment on this card project.  We will use random.org at the end of the celebration to announce the winner on the 18th of November.  Remember to leave a comment each day and be a Cricut Couple follower for another chance to win the grand prize!  Thanks so much for visiting today!  We sure appreciate it!
